About Des
Des’ personal history with Jackson Hole dates back to the mid 1990s on a family vacation which led him to return nearly every year since that time, including five years working at the Teton Valley Ranch Camp in Dubois, WY. Originally from Rhode Island, Des made the Valley his permanent home following his graduation from Middlebury College in 2008. After receiving his real estate sales license in 2010, Des has worked primarily in the sale of residential, ranch, and commercial investment properties in Wyoming and Idaho. Des was a partner in the ownership group of RE/MAX Obsidian Real Estate when the firm sold to Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty in 2017 and has held his license with Sotheby’s since that time where he is a member of the McPeak Group sales team.
Des is the 2020 President Elect of the Teton Board of Realtors, a trustee at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, and serves on the board as treasurer for the Jackson Hole Public Art Association. Additionally, Des is a member of the Jackson Hole Land Trust’s Open Space Council and regular supporter of Trout Unlimited. Des is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending his free time hiking, skiing, and fly fishing in the Greater Yellowstone area with his wife, Chloe, daughter Rowan.
